Naked! The building designed by UdA (Andrea Marcante, Valter Camagna, with Adelaide Testa), close to Piazza Adriano in Turin, is going to be completed.
The project involves the construction of 11 apartments (2 are still for sale) on a corner lot, each with private outdoor areas (gardens, balconies, terraces); real outdoor rooms as physical and perceptual extension of the interior space. A “holey” facade that through its lodges, embellished by Carrara marble tiles, represents itself in the domestic life of each unit. An architecture of outdoor rooms that for every inhabitant becomes visual prothesis to a landscape to customize.
